QALT - Quality Aboriginal Languages Teaching - applies the principles of the Quality Teaching Framework to the teaching of Aboriginal languages.
Community members and the staff from ten schools in western NSW took part in this joint project between the Board of Studies NSW, the NSW Department of Education and Training, and the University of Newcastle, producing a collection of written information, videos and teaching program guidance to assist Aboriginal language teachers in implementing the NSW Aboriginal languages K-10 syllabus.
